A new draft environmental impact report was recently published for 511 Cozy Drive in San Jose. If approved, the project would remove an existing elementary school and replace it with 80 new single family homes.

The low-density project will provide just 4.5 units per acre across from the Futures High School and Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes cemetery. The current applicant is not specified.

The project will remove the only shopping center in the city’s neighborhood on Bay Farm Island. The True Life Companies is the project applicant and developer.
New permits have been filed to split the existing lot at 612 South Main Street in Milpitas, Santa Clara County. The proposal will replace the existing commercial office and surface parking with 57 townhomes. After purchasing the project from the True Life Companies, Toll Brothers is responsible for the application.
New townhome-style units could be coming to 2391 Moorpark Avenue in Fruitdale, San Jose. The city has published the initial study’s findings, writing that it will not significantly affect the environment. The True Life Companies is the project developer.
