David Baker Architects have revealed new renderings for the 14-story residential infill at 921 O’Farrell Street in San Francisco. The proposal will replace a vacant single-story structure with 50 new homes above new ground-floor retail. A third of all units will be permanently affordable units in San Francisco’s Home SF program.
New renderings have been published with a Googie-inspired design by a new architect for 841 Polk Street in San Francisco. The proposal will create 40 new group housing bedrooms near Van Ness Avenue by Polk Gulch and the Tenderloin. Ankrom Moisan Architects is responsible for the design.
The San Francisco Planning Commission has greenlighted the 13-story mixed-use proposal for 1200 Van Ness Avenue in Polk Gulch. The proposal is expected to create a 114,000 square foot commercial podium with retail and over a hundred apartments. Van Ness / Post Center LLC, linked with the One Kearny Club and United Management Co, is responsible for the development.
Demolition and new building permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 955 Post Street in Polk Gulch, San Francisco. The development will produce 69 rental units above retail, including some affordable housing. 955 Post LLC is the project sponsor responsible for the development on behalf of Millbrae resident Frank Wong.

The project will rise 14 stories to create 221 residential units, including affordable housing, on top of retail and child care facilities. 1101 Sutter Affordable, LP is the project sponsor and developer.
