The Northeast Area Specific Plan would rezone a 43-acre district for new housing. Earlier this week, the city published the notice of preparation for the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) and solicited public comment to inform the review.
The Half Moon Bay City Council has granted final approval for the proposed farmworker housing at 555 Kelly Avenue. The affordable housing project would bring 40 units to support the coastal city’s agricultural community. Mercy Housing is the project developer, working alongside local non-profit Ayudando Latinos A Soñar, or ALAS.
