The new vision has been announced for the memorial for the iconic Harvey Milk. The project, located at Harvey Milk Plaza in Castro District, is an endeavor to honor the contributions and legacy of Harvey Milk. The Friends of Harvey Milk Plaza was formed in 2016 to lead the effort to realize this vision. SWA Group is responsible for the design concepts.

The development would add 36 new units to the city’s housing market. Stanley Saitowitz | Natoma Architects is responsible for the design.
Conditional Use Authorization permits have been filed for an eight-story residential project at 2134-2140 Market Street in the Duboce Triangle corner of the Castro, San Francisco. The project will yield 70 new units, making use of the State Density bonus. Macy Architecture is the architect and has confirmed Kent Mirkhani of 2134 Market Street is their client and project developer.

The project proposal includes the construction of a new five-story building with off-street parking spaces. The existing two-story single-family dwelling will be demolished. The project is a density bonus residential project and requires density bonus waivers of the height limit and usable open space requirement.
Development permits have been approved for constructing a single-family home at 4822 19th Street in Castro-Upper Market, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of a two-story Type V-B residence with a basement. SIA Consulting Corp is managing the design concept and construction of the project.
