Updated designs have been published for a six-story mixed-use project at 3260 26th Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The proposal will replace a single-story automobile repair shop with 37 new homes above ground-level retail. Kerman Morris Architects is managing the design.

Initial plans for basement apartments have been removed, and now both projects will rise to be 11 stories tall. Elsey Partners is responsible for both applications.

The development will create 18 new homes, including two as affordable housing. The project owner shared with SFYIMBY that “after almost 3 years of effort collaborating with city departments, we are getting closer to public hearings.”
New permit activity has been recorded for 2100 Mission Street, a corner lot on 17th Street, nearby BART in San Francisco’s Mission District. The project will rise six stories, creating 29 new homes and new ground-floor retail. The Toboni Group is responsible for the application.
