Construction is rising for the seven-story residential development at 1900 Mission Street, located one block from BART in San Francisco’s Mission District neighborhood. The project will soon bring 12 dwelling units and a retail spot by local and regional transit. Mission Property Management is listed as the project developer, operating through Celtic Development LLC.
Permits have been approved to transform a single-family lot to contain four units at 2967 23rd Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The construction involves adding a vertical addition to an existing single-family residence and building a new four-story two-unit place on a currently vacant portion of the lot. The new housing will do a small part to help capture demand for one of the city’s most distinctive neighborhoods. Kieran Woods Construction is the owner and contractor for the project.
The San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans for a two-structure residential infill at 1721 15th Street in the Mission District’s Mission Dolores neighborhood. The project will rise six stories above 15th Street, with a rear-yard building offering four townhome-style units. Veev, a start-up based in San Mateo, is the project developer and contractor.
After years of lawsuits, a failed bid for historic preservation, and stalled efforts, San Francisco’s ‘historic’ laundromat has been demolished. The former single-story building at 2918 Mission Street in the Mission District is now poised to be replaced by new housing. The city has already approved permits for an eight-story mixed-use infill.
New plans have been published for a four-story residential infill at 237 Sanchez Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The project will replace a two-story home with five new homes. Tony Phan is the property owner and is responsible for the application.
