Plans for Affordable Housing To Replace Surface Parking, San Francisco

New Building permits have been filed for two affordable infills with a total of 272 apartments at 1633 Valencia Street and 3485 Cesar Chavez Street at the border of Bernal Heights and the Mission District of San Francisco. One permit is listed as a priority under the San Francisco Mayor’s Office’s Executive Directive 13-01, designed by Mayor Ed Lee in 2013 to expedite the approval process for designated plans. Mercy Housing is developing 1633 Valencia Street, and Sequoia Living is developing 3485 Cesar Chavez Street.

Interior Renovations, New Jazz Club Proposed for San Francisco Armory, Mission District

A project review meeting has been requested with plans to renovate the interiors of the San Francisco Armory at 1800 Mission Street in the Mission District. The proposal will leave the historic facade and site use unchanged while adding more equipment infrastructure in the Drill Court venue while creating a dedicated Jazz Club and VIP lounge in the support area. AJ Capital Partners is sponsoring the application.
