Renderings have been revealed along with a planning application for a residential project at 300 Lambert Avenue in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The proposal is to create 49 new condominiums with underground parking nearby the retail-rich California Avenue destination. The Hayes Group Architects are responsible for the design.
Project building permits have been filed for constructing an ArtX hotel at 4256 El Camino Real in Palo Alto, by the city’s border with Mountain View. The application comes after the Palo Alto Architectural Review Board approved the design in early 2020. The five-story proposal will add 96 new guest rooms to the Silicon Valley market. HXH Property LLC is responsible for the development.
The City of Palo Alto has reviewed an application for the entitlement of a 16-building townhome development at 200 Portage Avenue in the affluent city in Santa Clara County. The project would add a low-slung residential project eight minutes from the California Avenue Caltrain Station on a portion of the former Fry’s Electronics property. The Sobrato Organization is responsible for the application.
Development permits were filed seeking the approval of constructing a teacher housing project in 231 Grant Avenue in Mayfield District, Palo Alto. The project proposal includes building 110 apartments for teachers and staff members at Santa Clara and San Mateo County schools. The project is sponsored by the County of Santa Clara, Facebook, the City of Palo Alto, and participating school districts in Santa Clara County. Mercy Housing California and Abode Communities are managing the development.
Development permits were submitted to approve the demolition of existing structures at 2850 West Bayshore Road in Midtown, Palo Alto. The project proposal includes reviewing the permits to allow the demolition and new construction of forty-eight three-story attached residential townhomes.
