The proposal will replace a car dealership with 199 new rental apartments for the Oakland housing market, of which 16 will be low-income housing. The Martin Group is responsible for the project as applicant and property owner.
The City of Oakland has approved development permits for a new seven-story apartment building at 424 28th street in Pill Hill, Oakland. The project will include market-rate and low-income housing within walking distance of the city’s downtown. Three Steps Properties LLC is the project developer.
New development permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 3414 Andover Street in Pill Hill, Oakland. The project will yield 20 new units across 30,920 square feet, producing ten one-bedroom and ten two-bedroom units. Oakland-based DNZ Homes LLC is responsible for the development.
New building permits have been filed for a 54-unit mixed-use building at 451 28th Street in the Pill Hill neighborhood, Oakland. The six-story project on top of the currently-vacant lot includes three affordable/very-low-income units, with an estimated construction cost of over $1 million. Winder Gibson Architects are responsible for the building’s design.
