Preliminary plans have been filed for over two hundred affordable senior homes at 2675 Folsom Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The application comes after plans for a 117-unit apartment complex were approved in 2016 but never built.
Revised plans have been filed for a planned expansion of St Ignatius College Preparatory Campus at 2001 37th Avenue in San Francisco’s Sunset District. The application shows continued focus on creating a new main facility for the private Catholic school overlooking Sunset Boulevard. A portion of the existing campus will be demolished.
New elevations have been published for the double-tower proposal at 655 4th Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The project is one of the largest in the city’s pipeline, aiming to create over a thousand apartments on 1.6 acres directly across from Caltrain’s San Francisco Station. Tishman Speyer, the same company behind the nearby Mission Rock master development, is the project sponsor.
Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new residential project at 646-648 Madrid Street in Excelsior, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of a new residential building with an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) and garage. Plans call for the demolition of an existing two-unit single-family house on the site. SJA Development LLC is responsible for the designs.
San Francisco’s newest rooftop restaurant will also be one of the largest rooftop bars in the city. Chotto Matte is opening later today at the recently completed 100 Stockton Street near Union Square. The building will also open the meeting and event space early next month by Convene. Morgan Stanley and Blatteis & Schnur are responsible for the development.
