New minor modifications have been proposed to the original plan for housing at 1354-1356 York Street in San Francisco. The project was previously approved in December of 2023, but has yet to be completed. Property developers, Atlas Property Group, are using the time to submit new permits modifying the project’s interior and rear exterior.

Significant construction progress has been made for the nine-story affordable housing complex at 1515 South Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco’s Mission District. The full-concrete frame is close to topping out, with facade installation yet to start. Chinatown Community Development Center and the Mission Economic Development Agency are jointly responsible for the project.

Construction Wrapping Up For 1633 Valencia Street, San Francisco

Construction is wrapping up for the affordable senior housing at 1633 Valencia Street between Bernal Heights and the Mission District in San Francisco. Our recent site visit shows the exterior work appears complete, with an attractive brick and tile facade designed by David Baker Architects and built by Cahill Contractors. Mercy Housing is the project developer, with support from the San Francisco Housing Accelerator Fund.
