Madison Capital’s Representatives request the project review meeting for the firm’s proposed 2800 3rd Street development in Dogpatch, San Francisco. The project would produce six floors to capture the city’s growing demand for light manufacturing and laboratory spaces.
New building permits have been filed for a four-story single-family dwelling at 243 Staples Avenue in Sunnyside, San Francisco. The proposal will replace an existing house around the corner from the City College of San Francisco Campus. Sunnyvale-based Element Custom Homes is listed as the design architect.
New details have been published for two 17-story apartment buildings and a new public park to replace the former Transbay Temporary Bus Terminal in SoMa, San Francisco. Transbay Block 2 and 3 represent two-thirds of the full-block property. The projects are overseen by the Office of Community Investment and Infrastructure, i.e., the OCII.
The 18th tallest building in the Bay Area planned or built is Four Embarcadero Center, an iconic waterfront landmark in the San Francisco skyline. It is also the tallest of the Embarcadero Center mega-development in the Financial District and the tallest waterfront building in the region. The 570-foot tall tower rises just two feet higher than One Embarcadero Center. As with the rest of the complex, John Portman & Associates were the architects.
San Francisco Planning Commission will be reviewing plans for a new residential project at 952 Carolina Street, Potrero Hill, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of a new two-unit residential building. Plans call for the demolition of an existing single-family dwelling on the site. Selander Architects is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
