Proposed Hotel by Fisherman’s Wharf Clears Hurdle with San Francisco Planning

The proposal hotel for 2629 Taylor Street has cleared the environmental review process, bringing the project one set closer to rising by San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. Construction will replace an existing two-story building with 136 guest rooms by one of the city’s most popular tourist areas. Blackridge LLC, a Denver-based developer, is sponsoring the hotel.

City Provides Input on Ocean View Public Library at 100 Orizaba Avenue, San Francisco

The San Francisco Public Library is considering plans to construct a new branch at 100 Orizaba Avenue in Ocean View. The Preliminary Project Assessment review has been published by San Francisco Planning Department, giving insight into what city staff considers important issues for the project. The new project will replace the neighborhood’s existing library at 345 Randolph Street, also the smallest library in the SFPL system.

Renderings Revealed for Library-to-Housing Conversion in Pacific Heights, San Francisco

New renderings have been revealed for the adaptive reuse of 2395 Sacramento Street from a former private library for Cooper Medical College and, more recently, an event space into housing. The proposal retains historic architectural elements from the 1912-built design and expands with two new structures for 24 new homes in Pacific Heights, San Francisco.
