The developer hopes to replace the former UCSF campus with 744 homes, retail, and public open space. The most significant change to the 2019-approved agreement is the potential for a new financing plan.
The official kick-off ceremony has been held for the conversion of the historic Humboldt Bank office building at 785 Market Street in San Francisco’s urban core. Crews are now expected to start turning the 19-story century-old slab tower into 124 units of housing. Forge Development Partners is responsible for the project.
New plans have been filed for a narrow residential infill at 5172 Mission Street in the Cayuga Terrace neighborhood of San Francisco. The proposal will replace the existing commercial structure with nine rental apartments in a three-story complex. The site contains the current offices of the project applicant and design team, Thousand Architects.
At the start of this year, preliminary details surfaced to potentially replace the park-side gas station with housing at 1200 La Playa Street in San Francisco‘s Sunset District. Permits filed earlier this month show the owners have shifted gears, with a project review meeting requested to construct a new home for the convenience store.
Revised plans have surfaced for the residential infill at 2083 Ellis Street in San Francisco’s Western Addition district. Several elements of the project have changed, including an extra floor, two fewer units, and clarification that the existing Victorian-era home will be adaptively reused during development.
