Plans are moving through the city for the life sciences proposal at 200 Kansas Street in San Francisco. The application was approved for a streamlined environmental review process by the planning department in November of last year, and the filing has been under review ever since. The project is a joint venture with Kinship Capital and Presidio Bay Ventures.
Updated plans have been filed for the 17-story mixed-use infill at 450 O’Farrell Street in the Tenderloin, San Francisco. The proposal has been adjusted since an appeal was upheld by the Board of Supervisors in late 2021. Forge Development Partners, the project applicant, has replaced the micro-unit style housing at the center of the appeal for traditional apartments and raised the project by four floors.
New permits have been filed with updated details for housing at 4199 Mission Street in the Excelsior neighborhood of San Francisco. The six-story project will replace the existing gas station with 40 homes, including 12 for affordable housing. Gary Gee Architects is responsible for the design.

The project proposal includes the addition of residential units to a mixed-use building, resulting in a total of seven units and commercial space on the ground floor. Tan Thai Investments LLC is the property owner.
Three project applications with nearly nine hundred units have been published for buildings in the Parkmerced master plan next to the SFSU campus in San Francisco. The submissions are scheduled to be reviewed during the city’s Planning Commission meeting this Thursday. The informational presentation will allow staff and the public to comment on each project. San Francisco-based Maximus Real Estate Partners is the property owner and development sponsor.
