March Capital Management has requested a project review meeting with city staff to consider adaptive reuse of the historic classical revival building at 2395 Sacramento Street into a residential building. Located in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood, the project, still in its infancy, would add new apartments in a desirable area rich with transit and small businesses.
Construction is underway for the five-structure mixed-use development at 1629 Market Street, on the western corner of SoMa, San Francisco. The project will create 579 new apartments across two construction phases along with retail and a new home for the UA Local 38 Plumbers & Pipefitters Union Hall. Strada is the property owner and managing the development, operating through Strada Brady LLC.
Permits have been filed seeking the approval of a residential project at 770 Woolsey Street in Portola, San Francisco. The project proposal includes a mix of residences and the demolition of the existing greenhouse nursery, the University Mound Nursery, on the project site. L37 Partners is the project developer. Iwamotoscott Architecture is managing the design concepts and construction. Fletcher Studio is responsible for the landscaping.
Brookfield has filed a new design review phase application for a six-story office building at Parcel A at 88 Maryland Street. Parcel A is one of many structures to be built in the 69-acre mixed-use district plan along San Francisco’s Central Waterfront of which Brookfield is developed 28 acres. The application reveals a new design for Parcel A by DES Architects + Engineers in collaboration with Los Angeles-based Grimshaw Architects.
A project review meeting has been requested to consider plans to convert office space to senior housing at 369 Broadway on the northern edge of San Francisco’s Financial District. The project would convert 8,770 square feet into 21 studio dwelling units for senior housing. North East Medical Services, or NEMS, is responsible for the development.
