CEQA Review Positive for 3000 Bowers Avenue Plans by Lawrence Station Area Plan, Santa Clara

The Sobrato Organization has received good news for plans to build new offices at 3000 Bowers Avenue in Santa Clara. The project aims to add a third of a million square feet of office space just outside the Lawrence Station Area Plan. The review process as part of the California Environmental Quality Act, or CEQA, has determined that mitigation measures will ensure construction has no significant effect on the environment.

Apple-Leased Office Nearly Complete at 5407 Stevens Creek Boulevard, Santa Clara

Construction is wrapping up on the six-story office building at 5407 Stevens Creek Boulevard in the southwest corner of Santa Clara. It is the second and final phase for the Apple-leased site, located by the city border with both Cupertino and San Jose, and across I-280 from the massive Foster + Partners-designed Apple Park. Peery Arrillaga, the well-established Silicon Valley development company, is responsible for the project.

Remodeling has been proposed for the building located at 5301 Patrick Henry Drive in Santa Clara. The project proposal includes the remodeling of the existing single-tenant office, research, and development building for new labs, offices, storage, and research development. Plans also call for exterior improvements including loading area, utility space,  and exterior patio. Hines Global purchased the property from Crown Realty & Development for $68 million in 2021.

Meeting Today for Clara Gardens, Affordable Housing at 3550 El Camino Real, Santa Clara

Today, Santa Clara’s Development Review Hearing is scheduled to review plans for Clara Gardens, a fully affordable residential complex at 3550 El Camino Real. The housing proposal will preserve an existing hotel and replace surface parking with a seven-story apartment building. Berkeley-based RCD Housing is responsible for the project as the property owner.
