The city has submitted plans to purchase and convert a seven-story vacant office building at 1019 Market Street into a Mental Health Services Center in San Francisco’s Mid-Market neighborhood. The historic 1909-built Eastern Outfitting Build most recently had Zendesk’s headquarters for eight years until its departure in 2021. The new center will provide services for unhoused and uninsured people.
The City has approved plans for the 35-story residential tower at 395 3rd Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The high-rise project is expected to create 524 apartments from a surface parking lot at the corner of 3rd and Harrison Street, overlooking I-80. Strada Investment Group is the developer.
New plans have been submitted for a four-structure mixed-use development with a 300-foot tower at 80 Willow Road in Menlo Park, San Mateo County. If built, the project would become the second tallest structure in San Mateo County by using the Builder’s Remedy, possibly creating hundreds of homes, hotel rooms, office space, and retail. Oisin Heneghan, the founder of N17 Development, is listed as the project applicant. Embarcadero Capital Partners is the property owner.
Preliminary permits have been filed for a new residential campus at 211-281 River Oaks Parkway in North San Jose, Santa Clara County. The plan will create 737 units across two apartment buildings and over a dozen townhome-style structures. Valley Oak Partners is the project developer.
Plans have been published for two eight-story buildings at 668 East Third Avenue with housing and offices in San Mateo, San Mateo County. The development, named Post + Beam, will include 59 homes and a large mass-timber office block four blocks from the San Mateo Caltrain Station. Oakland-based Harvest Properties is the project developer.
