Community Feedback Platform Opens for 440 Arden Way, North Sacramento

Plans are under review for a five-story affordable housing project to rise at 440 Arden Way, located in Old North Sacramento. BRIDGE Housing Corporation has proposed to replace the vacated Sacramento armory building with 124 new homes, including 31 permanent supportive housing. Now, the nonprofit developer is working with coUrbanize to get community feedback with the launch of a new website.

Notice of Exemption for Affordable Housing at 440 Arden Way, Old North Sacramento

Plans to build new affordable housing are moving through the California Environmental Quality Act review process for 440-490 Arden Way in Old North Sacramento. The proposal has received the Notice of Exemption after an environmental review. The proposal, by BRIDGE Housing Corporation, will replace a vacated armory building with 124 new units of affordable units, including permanent supportive housing.

Broadway Cove and 735 Davis Celebrate Their Grand Opening In Embarcadero, San Francisco

Mayor London N. Breed and the City of San Francisco recently celebrated the grand opening of two new affordable housing developments located at 88 Broadway in Embarcadero, San Francisco. The two housing developments are named Broadway Cove and 735 Davis. Broadway Cove consists of 125 permanently affordable apartments for families, while 735 Davis consists of 53 units for seniors. BRIDGE Housing and The John Stewart Company are the project developers. Leddy Maytum Stacy is responsible for the design concepts, and Cahill Contractors is also on the project team.

New Renderings Revealed for Balboa Reservoir Development, San Francisco

New renderings have been revealed for Blocks C, D, E, and F of the Balboa Reservoir development plan around 11 Frida Kahlo Way in San Francisco. The project will rise across from the City College of San Francisco campus, replacing 17 acres of surface parking and open land with over a thousand mixed-income apartments, retail, and childcare facilities. Balboa Reservoir is a joint venture between BRIDGE Housing and AvalonBay Communities.
