Mountain View Decides on Developer for Affordable Housing Site

Affirmed Housing has been selected as the future developer for 87 East Evelyn Avenue, a surface parking lot owned by VTA in Mountain View, Santa Clara County. The team plans to build a seven-story and twelve-story apartment midrise containing a total of 268 affordable homes, including some for the county’s Rapid Rehousing program. The proposal is expected to cost around $225 million.

Construction Starts on Teacher Housing at 231 Grant Avenue, Palo Alto

Construction has started for the four-story affordable housing complex at 231 Grant Avenue in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The project will open 110 units for teachers, school district staff, and their families, including staff in Santa Clara County and several southern San Mateo County school districts. The project has been a joint venture between Abode Communities and Mercy Housing.
