The project proposal includes the construction of a residential building offering 100% affordable units, landscaped areas, courtyards, and onsite residential amenities. Related California, Mercy Housing, Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development, Architect Van Meter Williams Pollack, and Associate Architect KMA are all on the project team.
The Mountain View Planning Commission has approved plans for a six-story affordable housing project with over a hundred homes at 1020 Terra Bella Avenue in Mountain View, Santa Clara County. The plans will reshape a portion of a storage facility by Highway 101. Alta Housing is the project sponsor and developer.
A new housing project has been approved for construction at 231 Grant Avenue in Mayfield District, Palo Alto. The project proposal includes building 110 apartments for teachers and staff members at Santa Clara and San Mateo County schools. The project is sponsored by the County of Santa Clara, Facebook, the City of Palo Alto, and participating school districts in Santa Clara County. Mercy Housing California and Abode Communities are managing the development. Van Meter Williams Pollack LLC is responsible for the designs.
New plans have been published for 1652 Sunnydale Avenue, a four-story residential component in the expansive Sunnydale HOPE SF redevelopment masterplan. Sunnydale Block 9 contributed 95 units to the nearly 1,800-apartment redevelopment of the aged housing authority complex. Related California is the project developer.
New renderings have been published along with greater detail about the proposed mixed-use El Cerrito Plaza in Contra Costa County. The project could create as many as 800 homes, a park, and a potential new library on top of surface parking around the El Cerrito BART Station. Holliday Development and Related Companies are joint developers.
