Significant Progress For Transit-Oriented Gateway at Millbrae Station Development

A visit by SFYIMBY has documented construction is humming along with four structures topped out in Gateway at Millbrae, San Mateo County. The project is a transit-oriented mixed-use project that includes market-rate and affordable housing, a Marriott hotel, retail, and office space next to the Millbrae BART and Caltrain Station. Republic Family of Companies is responsible for the projected $401 million development.

Development Plans for 3035 El Camino Real, Santa Clara

Development plans have been approved for the low-density apartment construction of 48 units at 3035 El Camino Real near Koreatown in Santa Clara. The project will add 48 units across four three-to-four story structures, adding a minor but significant contribution along the commercial thoroughfare of a suburban area. The Los Gatos-based Hayden Land Company is the project developer.

Permits were filed to rezone and demolition three existing commercial structures at 4300 Stevens Creek Boulevard in the West Valley neighborhood of San Jose. The project proposed to add four buildings, three of which contain 637 apartments, of which 230 will be affordable.
