New plans have been approved for a residential project at 4300 Stevens Creek Boulevard in San Jose, Santa Clara County. The construction will create housing, shops, and a new hotel, but crucially not the once-proposed offices that would bring the desired job growth near housing proposed in the Urban Village Planning. Miramar Capital is the project developer.
New renderings have been revealed for Market Park, part of the expansive Berryessa BART Transit Village Development proposed for 1590 Berryessa Road in San Jose, Santa Clara County. Plans for the Market Park to occupy the Flea Market Southside District would add millions of square feet of office space and over three thousand homes on 60 acres next to mass transit. The Bumb family, the current property owner and founder of the Flea Market, is responsible for the application.
New renderings have been released ahead of today’s planning commission for the Blossom Hill Station project at 605 Blossom Hill Road in South San Jose, Santa Clara County. The project will replace roughly 5.4 acres of surface parking by light rail and buses with two new residential structures and ground-level retail. Republic Urban Properties is responsible for the project, operating through an LLC with EAH Housing working on the affordable housing component.
The San Jose Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans for 4300 Stevens Creek Boulevard in a public meeting later this week. The meeting will discuss the projects’ development rezone and development permits, allowing the demolition of three commercial buildings to build housing, a hotel, and a new public open space. Miramar Capital and Machine Investment Group are jointly responsible for the development.
