Renderings have been revealed for a new two-story Carpenter’s Union Hall at 3433 3rd Street by San Francisco’s India Basin. The project will create a new office and assembly space for the Carprtner Local Union 22 members. Equity Community Builders and Badiner Urban Planning are collaborating on the application.

Demolition permits have been issued for the existing single-story commercial structure at 820 West MacArthur Boulevard in Longfellow, Oakland. The application pushes forward plans for the five-story apartment complex with 166 studios near BART. Riaz Capital is responsible for the development.
Demolition permits have been filed for the existing single-story terminal building of Transbay Block 2 at 200 Folsom Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The permit was proceeded by new building permits from mid-November of last year for two future affordable housing developments with a total of 335 homes. The city’s planning department has yet to issue the permits to both developer, Mercy Housing, and the Chinatown Community Development Center.
Revised plans have been approved for the five-story apartment building at 820 West MacArthur Boulevard in Longfellow, Oakland, Alameda County. The unit count has been increased for the site from 92 apartments to 166 studios, while the overall capacity was reduced from 242 to 166 residents. Riaz Capital is the project developer.
New Building permits have been filed for two affordable infills with a total of 272 apartments at 1633 Valencia Street and 3485 Cesar Chavez Street at the border of Bernal Heights and the Mission District of San Francisco. One permit is listed as a priority under the San Francisco Mayor’s Office’s Executive Directive 13-01, designed by Mayor Ed Lee in 2013 to expedite the approval process for designated plans. Mercy Housing is developing 1633 Valencia Street, and Sequoia Living is developing 3485 Cesar Chavez Street.
