Five months after the proposal was shared, the multi-family housing at 2400 Adeline Street in McClymonds, Oakland gets approval from the Oakland Planning Commission. The project proposal includes the demolition of a commercial building and the construction of a five-story residential building. KTGY Architects, Signature Development Group, and Ripley Designs are managing the concept and design of this project.
Recent photographs show significant progress has been made in phase one of the waterfront Brooklyn Basin development in Oakland since the last site visit by SFYIMBY. Groundbreaking has occurred for 845 Embarcadero, wood is rising for Parcel A, and a platform for future pedestrian space by Parcel J is taking shape. Oakland-based Signature Development Group is developing the project, with joint financing from Signature, China-based Zarsion Holdings Group, and Reynolds & Brown.
Anton DevCo is poised to receive approval for Parcel D’s Final Development Permit along the Oakland waterfront. The proposed residential building will rise at One Ninth Avenue. Parcel D is part of the twelve-building Brooklyn Basin development master plan that is transforming an industrial portion of Oakland’s waterfront adjacent to the Jack London district. Anton DevCo is responsible for the development after purchasing the rights to develop in 2019. Signature Development and Reynolds & Brown manage the 3,100-unit masterplan for Brooklyn Basin.
New building permits have been filed for an eight-story apartment building, part of the massive twelve-building, 3,100-unit Brooklyn Basin development along the Oakland Waterfront. Addressed at 845 Embarcadero, Parcel G will bring affordable housing, retail, and amenities across an oddly-shaped footprint. The Oakland City Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans for a twelve-story mixed-use office tower at 2424 Webster Street, Oakland. City documents show that the staff is expected to recommend project approval with conditions. Signature Development Group is behind the application.
