Pre-application permits have been filed for a new building at 520 11th Street in Downtown Oakland. The project would serve as a new main campus for Samuel Merritt University. The campus is currently located at 3100 Telegraph Avenue in Pill Hill, affiliated with Sutter Health and the Alta Bates Summitt Medical Center. Strada Investment Group is responsible for the application.
The Registry San Francisco has reported that Strada Investment Group purchased the site for their proposed residential tower at 555 Bryant Street in SoMa, San Francisco. Strada reportedly closed on the property for $44.9 million. The proposed building is expected to create 500 new rental units, including some affordable housing.
New renderings have been revealed ahead of a planning commission hearing for a mixed-use mid-rise building at 490 Brannan Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The project would replace an existing commercial structure and surface parking a 185-foot tall building with offices, space for the arts, child-care, and retail. Strada Investment Group is behind the proposal after acquiring the property in 2015.
Construction is underway for the five-structure mixed-use development at 1629 Market Street, on the western corner of SoMa, San Francisco. The project will create 579 new apartments across two construction phases along with retail and a new home for the UA Local 38 Plumbers & Pipefitters Union Hall. Strada is the property owner and managing the development, operating through Strada Brady LLC.
A project introducing a seven-story office space makes progress; new renderings have been published for 2 Stockton Street in Tenderloin, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the vertical expansion of an existing four-story retail building by adding two floors of office space and a small penthouse office-level inclusive of outdoor terrace space. Strada Investment Group is the project sponsor. Gensler is managing the design concept and construction.
