The project proposes to build a three-story vertical addition on top of the existing four-story structure. Strada Investment Group is the project developer. Gensler is the project architect.
The City of Oakland and Strada Investment Group are closing on a deal for leasing 520 11th Street in Downtown Oakland, Alameda County. The 0.86-acre property is entitled to become the future ten-story addition to Samuel Merritt University. The project was approved this summer.
The BART Board of Directors has voted to approve plans for the Lake Merritt Transit-Oriented Development in Downtown Oakland. The approval is a significant step towards reshaping two low-rise lots with two towers and two mid-density buildings containing affordable and market-rate housing and offices. The Board President, Rebecca Saltzman, says construction will start in 2024.
Plans have been filed for the redevelopment of Plaza East, a 3.6-acre public housing project in San Francisco’s Western Addition. The proposal includes replacement housing for the existing 193 apartments as part of the 755-unit master vision. Strada Investment Group, McCormack Baron Salazar, and Without Walls are jointly responsible for the development.

The project proposal includes the development of a ten-story building to serve as the new mail campus for SMU. The proposal also includes a tree removal application to remove ten protected trees. Strada Investment Group is the project applicant. North Carolina-based Perkins + Will is responsible for the design concepts. Oakland-based firm Einwiller Kuehl is the landscape architect.
