Plans have been revealed for an eight-story mixed-use development at 2040 Mission Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The proposal would create 42 new apartments next to the 16th Street Mission BART Station. Hunt Hale Jones is responsible for the architecture.
Preliminary project assessment has been filed seeking the approval of replacing an existing one-story building and constructing a new three-story building on 3214 24th Street in Mission District, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of a three-story mixed-use building. Plans call for the demolition of an existing one-story building on the site. CMD Architecture is managing the design concepts and construction of the project.
A commission review application has been filed for a proposed seven-story mixed-use development at 240-250 Church Street between 15th and Market Street. The residential infill would add new residences, including some low-income housing to San Francisco’s Castro neighborhood. 250 Church LLC is the project sponsor for property owner Ty Bash.
Casa de la Mision has celebrated the grand opening in San Francisco’s Mission District neighborhood. Casa de la Mission is a five-story affordable housing development at 3001 24th Street. Now open, it has opened 44 new apartments intended to housing formerly-unhoused senior residents of the city. Each resident will be referred through the San Francisco Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing’s Coordinated Entry system.
Plans are under review to make adaptive reuse of the existing building at 350 San Jose Avenue to more than triple residential capacity. The property is in San Francisco’s Mission District, seven minutes from the 24th Street Mission BART station by foot. Most remarkably, the proposal requires moving the existing building fifteen feet forward toward the sidewalk. SIA Consulting is behind the development process and design.
