The project will add a significant enclave for housing in a retail-dense neighborhood walking distance from a grocery store. Blake Griggs Properties is responsible for the development.

The project proposes to demolish the existing apartment building spanning over 27,040 square feet and constructing a new four-story residential building with a subterranean parking garage, a public plaza, and a park. The construction will span across two parcels on the corner of First Street and Golden Gate Way.
New renderings have been released for a residential building at 950 Hough Avenue in Lafayette, Contra Costa County. The illustrations come as the city council continues to push back a decision to approve the project, which would provide twenty new houses near the city center, of which three will be sold as affordable housing. The Griggs Resource Group is responsible for the development, operating through 950 Hough Investors LLC.

The project also features a spacious garage with a capacity to park three cars, spanning approximately 930 square feet. The total built-up area of the house is 6,600 square feet. The total area of the lot is 0.5 acres. Fautt Homes is managing the concept, design, and construction.
BART has announced that they have picked two developers to form a joint venture for 780 new residences around the El Cerrito Plaza BART Station, with 49% units as affordable, and a public library. Related California and Holliday Development were chosen. The joint venture now must negotiate the terms of agreement with BART to start the two-to-three-year process of producing a development concept.
