Palo Alto-based Alta Housing has topped out for a 100 percent affordable housing project at 950 West El Camino Real, in Mountain View. Van Meter Williams Pollack is the architecture firm managing the design concept and construction. Hill Associates is the landscape architect.
Permits have been filed seeking the approval of a residential project at 851 & 853 Sierra Vista Avenue, Mountain View. The project proposal includes the construction of nine three-story row houses on a parcel that currently houses three single-family houses and an industrial warehouse.

The City Council of the City of Mountain View has approved Google’s request for the right to build for over a million square feet of net new office space, an important component in the tech company’s North Bayshore development. The decision moves the massive project, including roughly seven thousand residential units with some low-income housing, closer to construction. Council approval for the formal master plan is expected to be received later in Spring.
