Presidio Bay Plans Mixed-Use Redevelopment of Former USGS Campus, Menlo Park

Detailed plans have been published for the mixed-use redevelopment of the former United States Geological Survey offices at 345 Middlefield Road in Menlo Park, San Mateo County. The property could accommodate hundreds of new apartments and nearly double the office space next to the proposed Parkline masterplan, and be less than half a mile from a potential new skyscraper at 80 Willow Road. Presidio Bay Ventures is responsible for the application.

Less Ambitious Plans Approved for 14001 Chester Avenue Vineyard Site in Saratoga

The previous plan for 14001 Chester Avenue in Saratoga has been downsized from its original plan reported on by SF YIMBY in June of last year. The purchasers, Thomas J. Wilson, Dustin T. Mannina, Sachneel Patel, and Jeffrey Bader, originally planned to use a builders’ remedy application to create a large-scale development on the former vineyard site. However, the project has since struck a deal with the city of Saratoga to modify the project so it fits within the existing zoning regulations.
