The 0.93-acre site will be replaced with a seven-story apartment complex to be named Ambrose. Martin Group is the project developer, with development permits approved just over a month ago.

The project at 1885 South Norfolk Street would create 321 new rental homes with a two-story arch connecting the public to a new landscaped waterfront park on Seal Slough, across from San Mateo County’s Foster City. The project is scheduled to be reviewed by the City of San Mateo Planning Commission during a special public meeting tonight at 5:30 PM.
