The proposed 45-53 Third Street mixed-use tower is expected to be tied as the 13th tallest building in the Bay Area. Located in SoMa, San Francisco, the building will be tied with 101 California Street and 50 Fremont Center with a rooftop height 600 feet above street level. The development is being co-sponsored by Hearst and JMA Ventures.
A preliminary architectural review (ARB) has been filed for a new project proposed at 901 South California Avenue in Palo Alto. The project proposal includes the construction of a new two-story building offering space for laboratory use. Plans call for the demolition of an existing structure. RMW Architects is managing the design concepts and construction.
Detailed renderings have been published for the three-tower apartment proposal at 420 South 2nd Street and 420 South 3rd Street in Downtown San Jose. Later tonight, the project will be reviewed by the San Jose Historic Landmarks Commission, which is expected to recommend approval for the demolition of the existing structures. Urban Community and Terrascape Ventures are in a joint venture for the development.
New renderings have been revealed for Blocks C, D, E, and F of the Balboa Reservoir development plan around 11 Frida Kahlo Way in San Francisco. The project will rise across from the City College of San Francisco campus, replacing 17 acres of surface parking and open land with over a thousand mixed-income apartments, retail, and childcare facilities. Balboa Reservoir is a joint venture between BRIDGE Housing and AvalonBay Communities.
A preliminary project assessment has been filed for a proposed new home for the United Irish Cultural Center at 2700 45th Avenue in San Francisco’s Parkside neighborhood. The six-story building will significantly expand the existing structure with expanded programming to serve the Bay Area’s Irish community. The United Irish Cultural Center Inc. is responsible for the development as the property owner.
