New plans have been revealed for a mixed-use residential project proposed for development at 2655 The Alameda in Santa Clara. The project proposal includes the construction of a new four-story building offering spaces for multi-family housing and commercial uses. Swenson Builder is the project applicant. KRP Architects (Kenneth Rodrigues & Partners) is responsible for the designs.
UC Berkeley has published the notice of preparation for the Berkeley Space Center in the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, Santa Clara County. The university is working with NASA to create a $2 billion 36-acre research campus of academic and research facilities in the heart of the historic Moffett Field. UC and San Francisco-based SKS Partners have entered a joint venture, Moffett Partners LLC, to pursue development.
Revised permits have been reduced plans for the fully affordable Gateway Tower at 470 South Market Street in Downtown San Jose, Santa Clara County. The project has shrunk from 25 floors in 2016 to 21 floors in 2020, and now 15 floors. The Core Companies is the project developer.
New construction has been proposed for a residential project at 5644 Walnut Avenue in Orangevale, Sacramento, The project proposal includes the development of three new residences. Kamran Nakhaee is listed as the project applicant. JTS Engineering Consulting Inc is the project engineer.
Modified plans have been filed for the previously approved project at 300 De Haro Street, between San Francisco’s Potrero Hill and Showplace Square neighborhoods. The 11-story project application has slightly reduced the overall capacity while shifting the project to be fully affordable. DM Development is the project sponsor.
