Public Review Starts for Vallejo Apartments Proposal

The city of Vallejo has shared plans to adopt the Mitigated Negative Declaration documents for 5180 Sonoma Boulevard in Vallejo, Solano County. The proposal would create over four hundred homes across eleven buildings between the boulevard and Broadway. The public review period is underway from now to November 6th, 2023. The City of Santa Clara is starting the environmental review process for a townhome development at 1957 Pruneridge Avenue in Santa Clara, Santa Clara County. The proposal follows the former St. Mark’s Episcopal Church sale in July last year. SCS Development is the project applicant.

Construction Soon For Affordable Housing in San Jose

New funding from the San Jose City Council has pushed forward the construction of a new foster youth housing complex named The Hub at 1510 Parkmoor Avenue in San Jose, Santa Clara County. The council approved $40 million of state bonds for the 81 units of permanently supportive housing and a community space. Abode Housing Development is the project developer.

Construction officially started yesterday morning on the first apartment complex in the ambitious Potrero Power Station masterplan on San Francisco’s formerly industrial waterfront. The first structure to rise will be an affordable workforce housing complex named the Sophie Maxwell Building, with expectations of over seven hundred units to rise with it during the first phase of development. Associate Capital is the project developer.
