Yerba Buena Island will soon be home to 226 luxury apartments priced at a minimum of $1 million. San Franciscan boutique Real Estate venture, Wilson Meany, is the developer and investor. Construction Imminent for Phase Two of Potrero HOPE SF Development, Potrero Hill, San Francisco

Construction is expected to start soon for phase two of Potrero HOPE SF, a development plan to replace 619 affordable units with 1,700 new residences, of which 819 will be sold below-market-rate. The developers have already finished phase one, and they tell SFYIMBY construction will start this month on phase two, including 1801 25th Street in Potrero Hill, San Francisco. BRIDGE Housing is developing the project, with the San Francisco Housing Authority as the property owner.

Demolition Permits Filed For 180-186 Constitution Drive, Menlo Park

Permits have been filed for demolition of existing office and industrial space located at 180 and 186 Constitution Drive Belle Haven, Menlo Park. The permits also include the demolition of all building structures, related underground, and at-grade infrastructure. Both project site locations have light-industrial land-use. New residential construction is proposed at this site and is called Menlo Uptown Project.

BART has announced that they have picked two developers to form a joint venture for 780 new residences around the El Cerrito Plaza BART Station, with 49% units as affordable, and a public library. Related California and Holliday Development were chosen. The joint venture now must negotiate the terms of agreement with BART to start the two-to-three-year process of producing a development concept.
