Significant construction progress has been made for the nine-story affordable housing complex at 1515 South Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco’s Mission District. The full-concrete frame is close to topping out, with facade installation yet to start. Chinatown Community Development Center and the Mission Economic Development Agency are jointly responsible for the project.
The San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans today for the Mission Bay Block 4 affordable housing project in Mission Bay, San Francisco. The mixed-use proposal is looking to add nearly four hundred units across two structures, the tallest of which is 23 floors. Curtis Development and Bayview Senior Services are the joint developers.
Late last month, YIMBY was invited to tour Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island in San Francisco. Construction is wrapping up for Potrero Block 2, a hillside five-story affordable housing complex at 1801 25th Street in Potrero Terrace on Potrero Hill, San Francisco. Crews are moving towards the final stage of opening the 157 apartments, of which most will be dedicated to existing Potrero Public Housing residents. BRIDGE Housing is the project’s developer.
The City of Santa Clara has approved plans for a new apartment complex at 4590 Patrick Henry Drive near Mission College and Levi’s Stadium. The eight-story project is expected to add nearly three hundred dwellings. Walnut Hill Group is the project developer, represented by KASA Partners.
