The publication brings Google closer to entitlement for the 153-acre masterplan with thousands of homes, public open space, and 1.8 million square feet of new office space. Lendlease is working with the tech giant as the project developer.
The planning process has started again for 469 Stevenson Street, a 27-story infill planned in SoMa, San Francisco. The 495-unit project had been appealed in a high-profile decision by the Board of Supervisors in 2021. Its second push through the planning process has come with a new streamlined appeals process designated by Governor Gavin Newsom. BUILD is the project developer.
Construction has topped out with facade installation nearly complete for the 39-story mixed-use tower at 1900 Broadway in Downtown Oakland, Alameda County. An official ceremony was held yesterday morning, attended by the project team and construction workers. Behring Companies is the project developer, with Suffolk as the general contractor.
The SF Planning Department has published initial feedback for the 46-story residential tower proposal at 636-648 4th Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The structure would replace a two-story commercial building a block away from the San Francisco Caltrain Station with 513 new rental homes, slightly reduced from 522 units earlier this year. The document provides the developer, Solbach Property Group, with the first comments from the San Francisco Planning Department about the project features and design before filing an official application.
Construction has reached the fifth floor of the 330-unit apartment complex at 2359 Harrison Street in Northgate-Waverly, Oakland. The project, led by Holland Partner Group, has already demolished surface parking and low-slung commercial structures. The tower is rising across from Vespr, another project by the same developer.
