State Funds Secured For Affordable Workforce Housing in San Quentin, Marin County

State funding has been secured to push forward the Oak Hill Workforce Housing project in the unincorporated San Quentin community in Marin County. State Senate President pro Tempore Mike McGuire announced that the new state budget will allocate $7.5 million towards the 135-unit project, allowing the project to progress. Education Housing Partners is the project developer.

In the latest news for a project at 2500 76th Avenue, development permits have been filed, allowing for the progression of the project to its next stage and eventual construction. The large-scale project in the Eastmont neighborhood of Oakland was first reported on by SF YIMBY in August of last year. Since then, the project has seen rapid progress towards approvals, with various permits being filed this year.

Notice Of Exemption Filed for Trillium Senior Housing Building San Jose

The Santa Clara Housing Authority, Eden Housing, and Core Companies have been jointly responsible for the planning and development of a large scale project located at 675 East Santa Clara Street, near Downtown San Jose. The multi acre site will encompass a variety of projects to be developed over multiple phases. One of the projects, named Trillium Senior Housing, took a major step forward this week with the posting of a Notice of Exemption allowing the building to expedite it’s environmental approvals.
