The official groundbreaking ceremony was held yesterday morning by MidPen Housing to celebrate the construction of 167 units of affordable housing at 750 Golden Gate Avenue and 850 Turk Street in San Francisco’s Fillmore District. The ceremony was held at 750 Golden Gate Avenue, where the first floor of concrete is already complete. One block away, demolition work is nearly complete at 850 Turk Street.

New Building Permits Filed for Affordable Educator Housing at 750 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco

New building permits have been requested for the affordable educator housing project at 750 Golden Gate Avenue in the Fillmore District, San Francisco. Once issued, construction can start replacing formerly state-owned surface parking lots with an eight-story infill. MidPen Housing is the lead developer, working with consulting developer Tishman Speyer.

Facade installation is nearly done for the three new towers in Mission Rock, San Francisco. Both the new Visa Headquarters and The Canyon are completely wrapped, with work on Building B almost finished. The park is one of Mission Rock’s most highly anticipated public assets, five acres of waterfront open space shaped by community input and designed by SCAPE Landscape Architecture. Mission Rock Partners is a joint venture with the Giants, the Port of San Francisco, and Tishman Speyer.
