Development permits have been approved for the five-story affordable infill proposed at 4655 Steele Street in Oakland, Alameda County. The approval comes just under a year after plans for the site first surfaced with a pre-application last year. Eagle Environmental Construction is the project sponsor.
The Berkeley Zoning Adjustment Board is scheduled to review plans for the seven-story residential infill at 2300 Ellsworth Street in Southside, Berkeley. The project will replace twelve apartments with 69 new residences, including ten affordable units. Riaz Capital is responsible for the application.
The Berkeley Zoning Adjustment Board has given the final stamp of approval for a 27-story residential tower at 2128 Oxford Street in Downtown Berkeley. The project aims to add 456 larger apartments tailored for students on the western edge of the UC Berkeley campus. Chicago-based Core Spaces is responsible for the application, with planning and CEQA consultation from the Rhoades Planning Group.
The Berkeley Design Review Committee is scheduled to review plans for a 12-story residential infill at 2530 Bancroft Way in Southside, Berkeley. The project will bring over a hundred homes to a UC Berkeley campus-side property near the busy Telegraph Avenue thoroughfare. Landmark Properties is the project developer.
Preliminary permits have been filed to construct a new structure within the Seneca Family of Agencies medical center at 8945 Golf Links Road, Oakland. The added facility will provide bedrooms for the Children’s Crisis Residential Program run by the non-profit. Ratcliff Architects is responsible for the design, though plans have not been shared.
