Preliminary permits have been filed for an affordable senior housing project at 1223 33rd Avenue in Fruitvale, Oakland. The development would replace a vacant parcel with six floors by the neighborhood BART Station. Pyatok Architects is the project applicant and prospective architect.
Building permits have been issued for a townhome infill at 4035 Park Boulevard in Trestle Glen, Oakland. The project will bring eight three-story buildings at the corner of Park and Hampel Street. Oakland-based Workshop1 is the developer and project architect.

Construction has started for an over three-hundred-unit residential development at 4452 Rosewood Drive within Pleasanton’s Hacienda Business Park area. The project is replacing 8.4 acres of surface parking from an existing office campus housing and a multi-level garage surrounded by landscaping. AvalonBay Communities is the project developer.
The zoning worksheet has been filed for an affordable housing complex at 606 Clara Street in Brookfield Village, East Oakland. The project will use $14.3 million in Homekey funds from the State to pursue the construction of 40 affordable homes dedicated to seniors experiencing homelessness. San Francisco-based DignityMoves is the project sponsor.
