The developer is seeking approval for both options, which could see the construction of a seven-story mid-rise complex or a 23-story tower. Signature Development Group is responsible for the application.

The proposal will bring several dozen permanent supportive housing units with $14 million of funding from the Project Homekey initiative. DignityMoves is responsible for the application on behalf of the property owner, the City of Oakland.

If approved, the project may become the tallest residential tower to be approved with streamlining from Senate Bill 330. NX Ventures and Rhoades Planning Group are jointly responsible for the application.
Design review permits have been filed for a two-unit development at 2266 East 19th Street in San Antonio, Oakland. The project will develop a three-story duplex with a carport on the site, currently occupied by a vacant house. San Jose-based Appletree Investment LLC is listed as the property owner.
Plans have been revealed for a $1 Billion medical campus in Emeryville, Alameda County. The announcement comes after the Sacramento-based not-for-profit Sutter Health purchased the 12-acre Emery Yards development in the densely-built city, featuring two existing multi-story structures, a massive parking garage, and several vacant lots. Sutter Health will be collaborating with Sutter East Bay Medical Group to manage the site.
