Preliminary permits have been filed for a six-story residential project at 1026 Cotton Street along the Oakland waterfront neighborhood of East Peralta. The project will replace a vacant restaurant and surface parking with 105 homes. Nabr, the same developer behind the high-profile three-towered residential project in San Jose designed by BIG, is responsible for the application.

The preliminary application shows the vacant property will be transformed into 53 new homes, including affordable housing. R2 Building, the same firm responsible for the 39-story application at 2044 Franklin Street, is listed as the project developer.
oWow has provided YIMBY the latest rendering for 1523 Harrison Street in Downtown Oakland, Alameda County. The developer has announced plans to increase the project scale, with nearly a hundred more apartments in a taller 25-story envelope. Construction is expected by 2024, likely after oWow finishes the 19-story tower at 1510 Webster Street.
