The project will bring over a hundred apartments to the corner lot, which is within walking distance of the Downtown Berkeley BART Station. Art Kapoor Realty Co is the property owner and applicant, filing through American Commonwealth Associates LP.
The San Leandro Planning Commission is scheduled to review a small affordable housing proposal at 98-100 Castro Street in Old San Leandro, Alameda County. Habitat for Humanity is expected to develop the currently vacant parcel with three units. The public event will be held in person at the San Leandro Civic Center tonight.
A proposed mixed-use development has moved forward in Dublin, Alameda County. Spanning an area of 77 acres, the project aims to build suburban housing, an affordable apartment building, and a commercial district anchored by a public park.
Development permits have been approved for a 19-story residential tower at 2305 Webster Street in Northgate-Waverly, Oakland. However, project developer Avi Nevo is acquiring the new entitlement during a period when most privately funded projects in Oakland that haven’t yet broken ground are on hold.
