New renderings have been revealed for an eight-story residential infill at 618 Octavia Street, within San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood. The project will replace a four-unit apartment complex with 40 new homes, including replacement apartments for the current residents. March Capital Fund is sponsoring the development.
Construction is complete, and leasing has started for Vance at 830 Eddy Street, a residential complex on the eastern edge of San Francisco’s Fillmore District. The project has added 137 new rental units to the city’s housing market, of which twenty are affordable. BUILD is responsible for the development.
Construction is finishing up on Coterie Cathedral Hill, a luxury senior housing development at 1001 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco’s small Cathedral Hill neighborhood. The project adds 209 new units to the poorly supplied market of high-end senior housing. Coterie Cathedral Hill will be just the second project for the new Coterie Brand, a collaboration between Related Companies and Atria Senior Living.
A General Plan Referral application for the acquisition of the property at 835 Turk Street in Fillmore District, San Francisco has been submitted. The project proposal includes the development of a residential hotel. The site operates a hotel, Vantaggio Suites. VSSF Associates LLC is the property owner. Department of Homeless and Supportive Housing is the project applicant.
New renderings have been revealed along with updated planning documents for Freedom West, a multi-billion dollar project to build 2,387 new residential units in San Francisco’s Fillmore District. The development will offer replacement housing for all displaced residents while adding a new hotel, retail, community spaces, and new open space. MacFarlane Development Company is responsible for the application.
