Plans Revealed for Mixed-use Neighborhood at 333 Ravenswood Avenue, Menlo Park

SRI and Lane Partners have announced plans for a mixed-use neighborhood to replace the 63-acre office campus at 333 Ravenswood Avenue in Menlo Park, San Mateo County. The proposal, dubbed Parkline, would include at least 400 new dwelling units with affordable housing, a public park area, and new office buildings. The developers are scheduling to receive public input during listening sessions this July before submitting formal plans.

Pre-Application Permits Filed for citizenM Hotel at 3 Facebook Way, Menlo Park

Pre-application permits have been filed for a 240-room citizenM Hotel at 300 Constitution Drive, or 3 Facebook Way, in Menlo Park, San Mateo County. The five-story development will replace surface parking at the intersection of Chilco Street and Bayfront Expressway in an area dominated by Facebook offices. The proposed hotel has already received city council conditional approval in early 2020. The Netherlands-based citizenM Hotel chain is responsible for the development as the project owner.

A recent site visit by SFYIMBY reveals that construction is well underway for the mixed-use development at Middle Plaza in Menlo Park, Silicon Valley. The project will bring 215 new apartments beside 10,000 square feet of retail, a new public park, and 276,610 square feet of new office space within walking distance from a Caltrain station. Stanford University is sponsoring the development.

Facebook and Signature Release New Renderings of Willow Village, Menlo Park

Facebook and Signature Development Group have announced that they have submitted newly detailed planning documents for their proposed mixed-use district dubbed Willow Village in Menlo Park, San Mateo County. The proposal will cover nearly 60 acres with a mixture of housing, office space, retail, and public parks. Two phases of construction will yield over 3.3 million square feet of built area. OMA, one of the most influential architecture firms still active, is responsible for the design.
