Updated plans have been filed, showing continued work behind the scenes for the proposed residential development at 1900 Diamond Street, or 5367 Diamond Heights Boulevard in San Francisco’s Diamond Heights neighborhood. The project team is aiming to build 24 residential units across the vacant 0.8-acres of land. Solomon Cordwell Buenz is responsible for the design.
Demolition permits have been filed to clear the way for a mixed-use project at 2176 Kittredge Street in downtown Berkeley. The proposal would add 165 new apartments to the college town’s housing market. East Beach Capital is responsible for the application.
Renderings have been published ahead of a scheduled Burlingame Planning Commission meeting for a proposed office building at 567 Airport Boulevard, doubling the office floor area of an existing campus overlooking Burlingame Lagoon in San Mateo County. This meeting comes after a recent change of ownership for Peninsula Innovation Point. Barings, a global investment manager, purchased the property from EverWest and Partners Group in late July 2021 for $170 million and plans to follow through with the redevelopment project.
Construction has started for 220 Park Avenue, a substantial addition to downtown Burlingame in San Mateo County. The development will add new six-story office space and retail next to the planned Town Square project on the former parking lot E. The joint venture of Sares Regis Group and Dostart Development Company is developing for the project.
Construction crews have quickly installed the curtainwall glass covering Adobe’s new office tower at 333 West San Fernando Street in Downtown San Jose. Dubbed Adobe North Tower, the project is the fourth skyscraper for the Adobe Global Headquarters. The software company has been operating from San Jose since 1996, with the construction of Adobe Tower West and the subsequent completion of Adobe Tower East in 1998 and Adobe Almaden Tower in 2003.
