Just two years after the Macy’s shopping mall was demolished in the center of Downtown Sunnyvale, construction has moved fast for phase two. A recent site visit by YIMBY has shown two seven-story offices and the twelve-story apartment complex have topped out, with facade installation underway. Hunter Properties and Sares Regis Group are jointly responsible for the project, part of the 36-acre Cityline Sunnyvale master plan.
Renderings have been published for the eight-story flatiron infill with 20 for-ownership units at 2201 Market Street in the Castro, San Francisco. The plan is the first in San Francisco to use Assembly Bill 2011, a state law that went into effect at the beginning of this month, to streamline approval. The Residences @ Shoreline Gateway development has topped out at 1001 North Shoreline Boulevard in Mountain View, Santa Clara County. The three-structure project is the second construction phase, creating over three hundred homes between Google’s headquarters and the Mountain View Caltrain. Sares Regis is the developer, working for Lighthouse Real Estate Investments.
Construction has topped out for a new eight-story life sciences development and parking garage at 567 Airport Boulevard inside the Bay Park Plaza in Burlingame, San Mateo County. The project has reshaped a 12.8-acre property along the bayside across from the new Gensler-designed Meta offices. Lane Partners is the project developer.
Yesterday afternoon marked the official topping out of the BART-adjacent Millbrae Office and Life Sciences Campus in Millbrae, San Mateo County. Truebeck Construction has rapidly transformed the flat plot of land with a six-story steel structure in less than a year for the largest of four buildings for the Life Sciences campus in less than a year. Alexandria Real Estate Equities is the project developer. Eikon Therapeutics will be the anchor tenant.
