Construction has officially started on 39 affordable homes with a groundbreaking ceremony at 1367 University Avenue in North Berkeley, Alameda County. The project will create housing for formerly homeless individuals, giving access to amenities, on-site services, and close access to the North Berkeley BART Station. San Francisco-based Panoramic Interests is the developer while Building Opportunities for Self Sufficiency will manage the property and leasing.

Excavation Underway for Life Sciences in San Carlos, San Mateo County

Construction has started with excavation work well underway for a new six-story life sciences complex at 405 Industrial Road in San Carlos, San Mateo County. The project, now named ​​Portal 405, is one of several life science projects rising along Industrial Road, contributing to a new life sciences hub in the San Francisco Peninsula market. Menlo Equities and Beacon Capital Partners are joint venture partners for the project.

Facade Installation Underway Across Cityline Sunnyvale Block 3

Just two years after the Macy’s shopping mall was demolished in the center of Downtown Sunnyvale, construction has moved fast for phase two. A recent site visit by YIMBY has shown two seven-story offices and the twelve-story apartment complex have topped out, with facade installation underway. Hunter Properties and Sares Regis Group are jointly responsible for the project, part of the 36-acre Cityline Sunnyvale master plan.
